Tremco POWERply Standard Smooth is a fire-resistant modified bituminous barrier with a softer surface. It's made up of carefully chosen bitumens that have been amended with appropriate Elastomeric SBS and a fiberglass reinforcement mat. Asbestos-free POWERply Standard Smooth is also available. ASTM D 6163, Type I, Grade S is exceeded by POWERply Standard Smooth. POWERply Standard Smooth sheeting is used as a strong protection course for Tremco hot applied waterproofing membranes.
When a smooth surfaced membrane is requested, POWERply Standard Smooth is developed for use in both heated and cooled mounted roofing materials. Standard Smooth POWERply can also be used as a core layer on a BUR or MB roof structure. This product is not intended to be used in pondering situations. It is necessary to have good disposal. Liquids, oils, and other pollutants that are hazardous to asphalt mixture materials should not be used. Backnail on roofs with a slope of 2:12 (2"" per foot) or more (16.6 percent).
