The Carlisle CCW-550 Primer is a solvent-based, single-component primer with a low VOC bituminous primer that is used for waterproofing the split slabs in construction
It is specifically designed for strong adhesion of the CCW-500 hot-applied liquid membrane by preparing the concrete surface. The primer can also be used as a waterproofing membrane for roof decks and a spray-ready solution. There is no need to thin the solution and can be rolled or sprayed on all gypsum, concrete, bricks, masonry, metal surfaces, and plywood.
This roof coating primer is used for industrial purposes only. It can be applied using a roller. It should only be applied to the areas that are to be waterproofed the same day and can be reapplied if the area becomes dirty or wet. With a varying coverage rate; the primer gives a smooth, hair broom finish.
