DOWSIL 799 CLEAR 10.3 OZ

Dowsil 799 is a primerless, non-corrosive silicone glass and metal building sealant for glazing and weathersealing applications. 

What applications is Dowsil 799 designed for?

  • Conventional glazing applications
  • Weatherseal applications including perimeter sealing of doors and windows
  • Sealing around metal building flashings, gutters and gutter outlets
  • Factory-applied glass where it would serve as the primary seal bedding compound in a finished sash

Does Dowsil 799 have unique benefits?

In addition to being a primerless, non-corrosive sealant, Dowsil 799 offers a fast cure and long-life reliability. It can also be applied in cold outdoor temperatures as low as -35°F (-37°C) provided the surfaces are clean, dry and frost-free.

  • Fast Cure - 5 to 10 minutes tooling time and 20 minutes tack-free time
  • Long-life reliability - cured sealant stays elastic from -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 149°C)

ASTM Specification C-920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use NT, G, and A.
