SIKA SIKASWELL S-2 20 OZ
This bentonite-free SikaSwell S-2 polyurethane water stop is extrudable and useful for numerous types of construction joints
It has excellent swelling properties, amounting to 100% in potable water while a bit lower in salt and wastewater. This is a water-resistant formulation for optimal efficiency and performance. It allows simple and trouble-free application with no mixing and chemical-free properties.It is an elastic material preventing any probable damage due to wet/dry cycling. Further, it exhibits thixotropic properties for sealing irregular joint surfaces. It is a non-soluble and water-resistant water stop for numerous purposes. However, it is specially designed and composed for sealing pipe penetrations and repair of vertical and overhead surfaces. Lastly, it requires no nails, glue, or hooks and is adaptable in various environments or surroundings. The water stop assists controlled expansion to prevent possibilities of cracks and damages with easy application and fast drying.
It is designed for construction joints in new watertight concrete structures. Besides, it is excellent for sealing pipe penetrations through walls and floor slabs and joints between precast elements. It can be applied to horizontal, vertical and overhead surfaces and is ideal for watertight construction joints between new and existing concrete.
