DOWSIL 888: Non-sag silicone joint sealant for Portland cement concrete pavement joints
A great one-part and non-sagging sealant, the DOWSIL 888 Silicone Joint Sealant is specially designed for pavement joints made of Portland cement concrete. Suitable for a wide range of temperatures, these joint sealants work in the presence of atmospheric moisture. This low-modulus sealant can be used to cure non-uniform joints and joins with minor spalling. It is suitable for new, remedial, as well as repair work. Offering a primerless adhesion, this ready-to-use non-sagging sealant requires 14 to 21 days for full adhesion.
It is water-resistant, UV-resistant, jet fuel-resistant, thermal-resistant, and ozone-resistant. Make sure to apply the DOWSIL 888 on a frost-free, clean, and dry surface for optimum adhesion. This product is ready-to-use, meaning it can be used as supplied with the use of hands or an air-powered pump. Specially formulated for PCC (Portland Cement Concrete), this sealant is best suited to seal expansion joints, shoulder joints, longitudinal lines, transverse contraction, and centerline.
