Bituthene Adhesive Primer B2 LVC is used to prime green concrete (less than seven day cure for normal structural concrete). It is also used to prime damp concrete or masonry surfaces on which GCP self-adhered membranes will be applied. (See individual self-adhered data sheets for applicability.) Bituthene Adhesive Primer B2 LVC is used for vertical and horizontal purposes at 25 _F (-4 _C) or above.
Furthermore, the formulation encourages GCP self-adhered coverings to attach to concrete production and moist surfaces. The VOC concentration is less than 200 g/L, which complies with all state and local VOC regulations for adhesives and sealants. VOC content in adhesion primers is regulated by commercial and engineering maintenance rules. GCP products need to be handled with care.
