The SpecSeal Series LC Sealant is a high-solids, latex-based firestop compound. When correctly fitted, this material will completely seal penetration apertures and joints, preventing the spread of fire, smoke, hazardous gasses, and water. SpecSeal Series LC Sealant is designed to stick effectively to nearly all building surfaces and may be applied with a regular caulk gun, a standard mason's trowel, or a putty knife. The SpecSeal Series LC Sealant cures without shrinking, forming a flexible barrier against fire spread. Its superior latex binder technology is completely water resistant and won't re-emulsify after drying. The non-halogenated SpecSeal Series LC Adhesive includes no asbestos, inorganic fibers, or solvents.
